Thanks to its outstanding direct-to-disk abilities and waveform caching, edits on arbitrarily large sounds are performed at lightning speed with this fully featured multi-track editor. The handling of large sounds is furthermore facilitated by the extensive support of markers.
While Amadeus Pro features a number of built-in audio effects (equalizer, speed and pitch change, echo, etc), its abilities can be extended arbitrarily through the support of Audio Units and VST plug-ins.

Great editor, simple yet powerful
In the grand tradition of Mac shareware, Amadeus is affordable and well supported. I have been using and recomending it for years.
Since my go-to pro audio editing program, Peak, has been discontinued, I rely on Amadeus even more, for all my two-track editing. Well designed, well supported, easy to use and inexpensive. Can't go wrong!

Lightweight Audio Editor
I use Amadeus Pro every time I use Mac OS X. I turn on the computer, I launch Amadeus Pro and listen to some music I've edited with it into loops, and do whatever task I feel like doing at the time with the computer. The developer has done an excellent job with customer support also.

Ahh this brings me back. Just finished the first one.. on yes. my C64. lol it still works after all these years. lets just say im over 40 so the C64 is older then all my kids. who are all out of the house with kids of thier own. Mobipocket creator download for mac. never picked this one up back in my teen days. so this should be fun.

Take 'Very faithful to tabletop' all the way to 'Uber faithful to tabletop'. This game actually emulates **every** rule from classic Battletech, mostly transparently. Damage is shown as a simple percentage, but recorded just like the TT game, and persists across campaign sections, so you might find yourself redoing missions because even though you 'won', your mechs took too much damage. Firepower for each chassis has a rather obfuscational adjective rating; light, moderate, heavy, brutal, incredible. Having your Javelin go from heavy close range damage to None comes as a bit of a shock until you realize that the game tracks ammo levels as well.. having that same Javelin go from Hot to Shutdown to suddenly explode because the heat caused the missile ammo to cook off is also a surprise. (Like a said, it follows the tabletop rules to the letter). Surprisingly in-depth (if you're somewhat familiar with the original rules), a loooong two-part campaign with an engrossing story; and when you complete it, you're rewarded with permanent access to the Kell Hound's training grounds, where you can recreate any company sized engagement (12 units per side), using any mechs or tanks from the 3025 Technical Readout.. totally awesome.

This game is great fun and is very faithful to the original tabletop game, but OMFG it gets hard.. just be ready for that.
